Eternal God, Whose glory it is always to have mercy! Be gracious to all who have gone astray from Your ways, and bring them again with penitent hearts and steadfast faith to embrace and hold fast the unchangeable truth of Your Word, through Jesus Christ Your Son, who with You and the Holy Spirit, lives and reigns, One God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Almighty and merciful God, you hate nothing that You have made and forgive the sins of all those who are penitent, create and make in us new and contrite hearts, that lamenting our sins and acknowledging our wretchedness, we may receive from You, the God of all mercy, perfect forgiveness and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
