Music is not only an intrinsic part of the Cathedral’s proud parentage but also of its present pedigree. The Cathedral is affiliated with the Royal School of Music.
There are various musical groups in the Cathedral which include the Cathedral choir. The Cathedral has one of the best choir in Lagos and Nigeria as a whole and is composed only of male choristers.
The Cathedral also has a very high standard boys and girls brigade.
The Cathedral also has the Conrnerstone Voices Band. This band perfomes music in the contemproary and local genres. They provide another flavour of music to the Cathedral as the Choir provides the classical genres mostly.
The other musical group in the Cathedral is 4God. Unlike the others, they are not exactly a group established under the cathedral. Their composition is made up of people from all the diffrent musical groups and youth groups in the Cathedral. They are not restricted to one particular genre of music but perform in any genre including hiphop, Jazz, Rock, Pop, etc.
