FORMS OF SERVICE
Sunday Eucharist
The Sunday Eucharist is held twice every sunday. 7.15am and 11.15am. These services follows the Eucharist service in Common Worship, Order One and is a sung service. The 11.15am service is a "sung" service except on the second sunday of the month when it is "said". The services include a sermon by any of the clergy. Visiting cleargy men also preach occasionally, by the invitation of the Provost.
Choral Mattins
This service begins with the Responses, the Call to Worship, the Confession and Absolution, The Venite or Benedictus, etc, the Bible Reading for the day,The Anthem, Then the sermon by any of the clergy. Visiting cleargy men also preach occasionally, by the invitation of the Provost.
Evening Services
The evening services are in four types, The Community Hym Singing, where hyms are rendered by the congregation and for special services, the Cathedral Orchestra. Hymns are introduced by selected people. The history and the composer of the hymns are made known to the congregation. We also have "At the feet of Jesus" which is a service that is attended by the whole family. Prayers are made for the families individualy. Other services are the Psalmody and The Evensong
Other Services
Other services include Good Friday Service, Maundy Thursday Service, Christmas Day Service, New Year Day Service, etc.
